Dr. Eng. Mohamad Fathi GHANAMEH

Dr. Eng. Mohamad Fathi GHANAMEH is currently a Lecturer and Researcher at Orléans University, France. With an impressive 29 years of academic experience, Dr. Ghanameh has held prestigious positions including Associate Professor at the Université Internationale de Rabat (UIR) in Morocco, adjunct Professor at the Syrian Virtual University, and Associate Professor at Damascus University, Syria. His administrative expertise is demonstrated through his role as Director of Scientific Research and Post-Graduate Studies at Damascus University.

In addition to his academic roles, Dr. Ghanameh has a decade of professional experience as a industrial consultant and non-destructive testing (NDT) inspector across various Syrian industrial companies. He also worked as the General Manager of TARKIAH Industrial Studies, Consultancies, and Testing Company, operating in both Syria and Morocco, and directed the Research and Development department at AFAQ in Syria.

Dr. Ghanameh’s contributions to mechanical engineering and related fields are extensive. His research focuses on developing innovative testing techniques for stress analysis of welded tubular joints, mechanical properties of metallic materials and polymers, impact analysis of laminated glass, corrosion analysis in pipelines, and non-destructive testing. He has authored 12 books on Automation, Robotics, Non-Destructive Tests, and Mechanical Drawing, published more than 22 papers in refereed journals, and presented about 50 papers at national and international conferences. Moreover, he has supervised more than 19 Master’s and PhD projects.

Dr. Ghanameh’s diverse and extensive experience in academia, industry, and administration makes him a highly effective researcher, instructor, and leader in the field of mechanical engineering.
